This green-stem form of S. Viridis is the largest hardy bamboo  it is very upright and makes a good screen or hedge. 
This bamboo  to grow 10 meters  tall,  grows well in sun or shade and has dense dark green leaves.  
Fast spreading. 
Its pipes reach up to 5 centimeters in circumference.
